Gold for Roma Coffee at 2013 NZ coffee awards

Our best result to date at the 2013 annual NZ coffee roasters awards.

Most pleasing was the gold medal in the flat white category with our “Aarons Special Blend”.

Kiwis love affair with the flat white is well known so to win this one against the sort of coffee roasting competition we have here in NZ was a real honour.

Almost as pleasing was the silver medal won in the espresso section with our “Espresso 1” blend.

This is now the 5th year that this blend has won a medal in this category, making it New Zealand’s most consistent espresso coffee by far.

Rounding off the evening was another silver this time in the single origin category with 100% Ethiopian “Yirgacheffe” coffee.

A great night for Roma Coffee Roasters.
